So my housemate is trying to figure out what to make for this potluck and she decided on German Potato Salad and I was like why not make some German chocolate cake instead?? Everyone loves cake* but people are usually ambivalent about potato salad. See, this is yet more proof that I should be in charge of everything.

i would rather have potato salad than cake. some people prefer salty food to sweet food; i am one of them. always i will take salt over sugar. always.
To be honest, I really just don’t believe you (about cake v potato salad). I can understand a salt preference over sugar. However, chocolate coated pretzels can be an excellent amalgamation of sweet, salty, crunchy.
